my finches arent using their cuttle bone and their beaks are getting long.any suggestions??

Offer other things that will trim beaks.

Or... at petsmart they have they calcium perches, which are like cuttlebone except as a perch. If you put it close to the food source, then they'll eat and then jump on the perch and wipe their beak.
I've also noticed that placement of the cuttlebone is important. My finches tend to use it more if I place it near a perch that they use a lot. Like the highest perch, or the perch next to their food.

Most of my birds won't touch cuttlebone - so I quit giving it to them. I use a calcium perch near their water - and they do frequently wipe their beaks on it after drinking/eating.
