Very pretty! Will these be going in the shop or staying with you for breeding?

They are not sexed so they will be with me until they are older and start singing. I will keep a hen for breeding probably if it turns out that one of the nice headed ones is a hen. The rest will got to the shop eventually.

Beautiful canaries. Yellow canaries are the classic color - though I do enjoy the color bred canaries as well. Will you be selling Spanish Timbrados in your shop as well? :)

These youngsters should develope more color as the grow, plus I will feed lots of leutin food.
I hope to get some timbrados and some rollers but the breeders I want to buy from don't have my chicks ready yet.
I find most pet bird keepers go for the color, once they become hooked on the canaries then they branch out to the other types.(type and song) I have kept most types in the past but I must say, for the most bang for the buck I think the coloredbred american singers have it all, looks, song, and reasonably priced. They are also a long lived variety!

A fellow I know is traveling too much so he has decide sell all of his birds. I couldn't pass up these babies... They are nice and healthy...and $30 each. :D
