Yellow Mantled Whydah info please

Post by Queen_Bee » Tue Jul 19, 2011 5:40 pm

There is a pair of these for sale near me... $125 Cdn. I don't know much about them, so if anyone has any info I would appreciate it. The pic on Kijiji looks like a m/f pair. Can they be housed with other birds and if so, what type? What is breeding like? Easy? Hard? What type of food do they like?

TIA,
Jacqui

Thanks for the link. I think they need more room than I can give them.

An 8" bird is a rather large bird for a finch.
