I have a pair of zebras that are nesting and I expect for the eggs to start hatching around wed of this coming week

and I will like to know if after a week or so, when the babies start growing will the parents still be sleeping in the nest with them or will they go sleep someplace else?

My Zebras continued to sleep in the nest until the chicks fledged.

Once you take your photos and download them to your computer then go to Photobucket. There you can upload any photo you want from your computer then put your cursor over that picture and scroll down to image click then go back to your post and paste the photo in the body of the post. I really had a hard time getting the photos the right size to post but Photobucket makes that easy.

They will probably stop sleeping in the nest about a week after the chicks hatch. Depending on the number of chicks, there may not be enough room in the nest for the parents. And at that point the chicks can keep each other warm, and they have feathers to retain heat.

I think this topic would be better in the Breeding forum.

Yes, it was moved to Breeding because it was in Diet & Nutrition. I didn't make myself clear, sorry.

Photobucket is a website where you can store photos. Go to:
www.photobucket.com follow the instructions to upload photos. Once you upload the photos are the right size for posting. I tried so many times to post photos using the forum directions and have never been able to post. That is why I went to Photobucket. Its really easy.
Hope this helps.
