new finches moving in soon

in a few days, i will be getting my first finches. i am thinking of getting societies, and i wanted to make sure i had some sort of treat or something they really like to help make them feel at home on their first few days. should i just stick with spray millet, or can anyone suggest something better?

4 green singing finches, 2 society, 2 zebra, 1 owl and 4 wonderful cats
