Do your finches eat Niger seed?
This seems to be the most wasted seed in my finch mix.
None of my finche seem to care for it.

Re: Niger Seed
My finches will occassionally eat some, but generally they do not eat it or any other dark seeds. Even the fresh niger that I have is ignored.
My wifes canary however scarfs it up.

Re: Niger Seed
Mine love it, but I only really feed large quantities of it during winter months. My parrot finches like it in the soaked mix.

Re: Niger Seed
Mine eat it as well but only the live seed from Fabulous Finches, anything else they waste. They especially don't like Flax.
