hatched on 18th August and till now he only has 2 black spots on his face, while my other clutch which hatched a week before are already in full color. I give them them the necessary vitamins and cuttle bone.

I have had them range from 7 month to almost a year to finish their juv to adult molt. Some are fast and some are slow. Looks like you got one of the slow ones.
