Brown Sugar, no problems ?

I was thinking about change sugar to brown sugar in eletrolyte recipe.
i follow eletrolyte homemade recipe from debbie.
So, there is some problem about give they brown sugar ?

Brown (packed) sugar like for cooking/baking may be to sweet. Try raw sugar called Turbinado.

There doesn't seem to be too much different between brown or granulated sugar. Brown sugar has more calcium then white. Here are links to compare:

When you go to the charts Debbie listed above make sure you make the serving sizes the same to get a fair comparison.


We stopped using white sugar and went with raw sugars since it is processed less. That in itself has to be better, health wise.

I'm not seeing any real big difference in the Turbinado Sugar either. Here's a link, again make sure you put the portion at the same amount as the others (I used an ounce).
