lost my BLUE

Post by danaday » Tue Mar 12, 2013 11:30 am

I wasn't sure where to post this today.

I woke up today to the worst surprise ever. My baby boy BLUE, dead at the bottom of my cage. He was a bh pb gb/bb going through a molt with his siblings. I am so upset. Everyone else looks and are behaving fine and normal. I wonder what could of killed him? I am so sad. I will miss you BLUE.

That's terrible! I'm so sorry for your loss.
Such a heartbreak, especially with a youngster.

I'm so sorry for your loss. We get so attached to our little birds, and sometimes they die, and you may not know why. i lost a 6 month old Zebbie, Hughie, in similar fashion. He just died one night. I hope you are OK.

Thanks everyone ...all your support and warm thoughts are so appreciated. His death was a complete shock. There was no warning or symptoms of anything. He was dancing and singing the day before. And then gone. :(
