How to put a bird on a diet?

Post by alexbrgr » Fri Jun 07, 2013 1:28 pm

I have had a couple of birds this year throw several infertile clutches. So I checked them out and the males seem to be very fat. So my question is how do you put a bird on a diet? They are in a 4'x8' aviary and are getting bird seed and grit. What else can I do?

Cutting out the oily seeds is a good start. :)
