swapping nest

Post by jamezyboo21 » Wed Apr 09, 2008 2:21 am

okay so just about all my finches 6 out of 8 pairs have laid eggs. for the most part the pairs they in there own nest but, sometimes i see them siiting on another pairs eggs. Is this okay and normal for them to do since they are all together in a flight cage?

well mine have stopped doing that. they all have picked there on nests and stay with them but, the society finches go in all the nest and the zebra finches are constantly kicking them out of there nests. but i do have like 3 or 4 nest that arent being used that they can stay in.
