New Strawberries and others in last night from PE
Picked up a shipment of birds yesterday, from "Paradise Earth". A pair of Strawberries for me, a pair of Lavenders for Anita, and about 5 or 6 for another local lister. Didn't get them home till after dark.
Can't say enough about Dave at PE. I cancelled one pair of birds at the last minute - no problem, immediate refund. He even divided the birds into our separate orders. Sent tracking info, and we were able to keep tabs on their long journey.
These birds have been through SO MUCH! The are not in "excellent'' shape, but should be soon with lots of rest and TLC. Pretty much leaving them alone for a few days with with probiotics, and good food.

I hope your babies recover from their jet lag soon. They are beautiful. I am sure they will be singing up a storm soon and anxious to join their new friends
I am glad you obeyed the Florida seat belt laws.

I agree about the helpfulness and professionalism of Dave at Bird Products ( PE). I would not hesitate to order there again.

Congrats on getting the Strawberries, Lauren. I agree, David Calvin is very professional with how he runs his business. I think the birds will bounce back with a little TLC. I am doing the same with mine, probiotics and rest for a few days, and gradually work on building them up.

No Cindy, these are imports. They recently finished their 30-day quarantine, and then were sent out all over the country. A pet shop in Houston even got some.

Congrats Sunbay !!
I hope that all of the new imports settle down quickly and healthily and start producing beautiful babies for you ALL of you in the not too distant future
I've only fetched birds from the airport once before and I must admit it is quite a thrill waiting to see what arrives

What Country are they from? I thought there was a ban on them coming into USA?

I'm not sure, I've heard so many different stories and versions that I don't know what to believe. As I stated in another thread, I've found that the world of imports is cloaked in secrecy. They did go through quarantine in California, but that is all I know for certain.
