Looking for Crested male canary that SINGS! NE FL

Post by Sunbay » Fri Nov 15, 2013 12:11 pm

Hi all,

I have a lovely Spanish Timbrado - that I am pretty sure is a hen. I was recently visiting my friend in Savannah, and her 3 male canaries were singing their cute little heads off from dawn to dusk. I really miss that here!

So - I am looking for a crested male canary, preferably a Spanish Timbrado, Russian Singer, or Waterslager.
Any breeders in NE Florida? (Jacksonville area).

Thanks!

Lauren

Have you tried contacting Robert Lehr http://www.americansingercanaries.com/lehr.htm in Ocala, if that's not too far for you? I do believe that he has other birds besides american singers. Bob
3 canaries
2 orange cheeked waxbill finches
2 java finches, 1 split to normal, 1 white
2 bourke parakeets
1 american staffordshire/american pit bull terrier
1 boston/jack russel terrier mix
6 adopted stray cats
2 adult, 1 young leopard gecko
4 fish tanks and 4 fish bowls
3 turtles
2 teenage kids and 1 wife
