I have a large, mostly unused room. It is half of an old school double parlor. I'm thinking of building a large aviary in the corner. Since it will be resting against two walls, it doesn't need wire on all sides. Would two large 4'x6' pine boards be safe to use or are they considered engineered and therefore toxic?

So it's probably better to do the hardware cloth all the way around since most of the larger boards are pressure treated. Sorry, I get confused easily on google.

If it were covered with something like these vinyl tiles, would it still be an issue?
