I found these matching cages on Craig's List in excellent condition. Two different sellers, a couple months apart.
Zebs Omar and Baxter in one and Societies Hank and Jed in the other.
Not as big as other bird rooms but I LOVE it--even Layla had to get in the picture!

very pretty, and how lucky!
I find plenty of cages that big, but the bars are usually much further apart than yours,,,,,,Hope you got a steal on them!
2 male zebra finches named Laverne and Shirley. Don't judge LOL

Wow nice. I have been scouring CL for months, finally gave in and just ordered new ones online.
Some birds are not meant to be caged, that's all. Their feathers are too bright, their songs too sweet and wild.

You are so lucky to find matching cages, Barb. Your setup looks so nice! I like the neutral tan color of the cages. When I lived closer to the Twin Cities I was able to find bird stuff so easily. Now that I live in Northern MN the CL listings for birds and bird stuff up here are pretty darn skimpy.
Are you and Layla enjoying the extra 'bird music'?
My Zebs are having a blast with the clovers and dandelion leaves I pick for them every day. They put them all in the corners of the cage and have fun arranging them. It keeps them busy and out of trouble!

The "bird music" makes my soooo happy.
What s difference between the Zebs and Socieites songs.
Now thinking maybe I should add to the Societies...
Hmmm, maybe two more males, the cinnamon color OR Owls OR???

Gorgeous cages. I started with one of those for my finches. It's a little hard to catch them (I usually just turn them loose), but I love them. Mine is the really dark grey color.
