I'd like opinions on adding 2 male canaries to a cage with 2 male Societies. Cage is 30W x 18D x 36H
Thank you...

Don't do it my friend. Nothing but trouble down that road. During breeding season they (the two male Canaries) will try to do their best to kill each other, and the rest of the year usually only the dominant male will sing.
As to keeping Societies with male Canary. I have my Luciano with six Societies (4 male 2 female) in a large flight cage, with no major problems.

Hi.
Societies love more Societies. These guys are the most social little creatures I have ever cone across. They simply love each other and being together and close to each other.
Canaries on the other hand are more solitary, and tend to enjoy their alone time, especially the males. They like their own space and at times (other than breeding time) will not ever want a female canary around.
However, that said, my Luciano gets along fine with my Socies. For a while he even had a crush on Petey, one of my male Socies. So much so in fact , that he almost massacered one of my Zebra males who tried to hurt Petey some months ago.
If you want a male Canary for song, honestly, I would place him in a separate cage by himself and he will be quite content.
