, I could use a replacement during an upcoming trip next month. The person would only need to change the water tubes and freshen the seed a total of 4 times, so it would only take about 15-20 minutes at most for each visit.Friends have done this for me in the past, but I've learned that unless they're very experienced specifically with finches they just don't understand how incredibly quickly they can escape -- until it's too late. I've called every local pet-sitting service in the book, but I've yet to find anyone at all with finch smarts. It's very rare to find anyone with bird experience at all, and even if they do it's only with larger birds (parrots, cockatiels, etc.) that aren't as prone to escaping. Any recommendations?
