My nest is best!

Post by Corkysgirl » Tue Jul 29, 2014 4:38 am

My 10 1/2 year old zebra finch builds nests for a living. Most of the day he works on his nests...three of them. Yes three of them. One for his "Young Bride" (her name) one for him "Old Man" and one for....well everyone needs an extra nest or two, especially if you're an architect. Here are just a sampling of my day's work. This doesn't count my water dish decorations where I fill my bath water up with paper towels three times daily. I like my bath soft and cushy! We forgot to get pictures of them.

Architecture is a good field. Very respectable work. He is quite talented, too.

Yes it is! I wish I could have gotten the one draped over the perch in it's entirety in a picture. It is twice the size that it looks. He cracks me up! He's so serious about his work!
