Another passing

I just found Isa's mate Zane dead. Not surprised he had some diahrea and even looked thin...but still sad. :( Hope everyone else stays well.

No idea what killed them. Both had diahrea. She was fluffed but acting and eating o.k. He wasn't fluffed but did look thin but was still acting o.k...sigh

I'm so sorry. The diarhea was indicating something, maybe an infection or virus. Were they with other finches. If so, you might consider treating the flock with a broad spectrum antibiotic, antifungal, or even a antiprotzoa med. When I don't know what's wrong, I treat my finches with Ronex 12% and Amoxitex together. That is not usually done, but it can help when you're not sure what killed them, so you don't lose any other finches. I pray the rest are healthy.

Agreed with finchmix22.
I'd definitely consider treating the others perhaps with Ronex or even antibiotics if you see symptoms in the others.

I'm so sorry about Zane.
