badgerstategouldians I'll move this to its own thread, so other members may be more likely to see it and offer advice. The best thing you can do IMO for a sick finch is offer heat, which you are doing already. Did your birds have air sac mites, or were you just treated in case? S76 itself shouldn't make the birds sick, but perhaps this hen had ASM. Dying mites can cause a respiratory infection when they clog the airways.

I'll title the new thread 'Sick Gouldian Hen'.

Do you have a separate hospital cage you can keep her in? With a heat lamp?

I'm so sorry you lost your new finch! Your story is a good example of a strict quarantine for 3-4 weeks, that is done in a separate room away from the rest of the flock. That way, none of the other birds are exposed to anything the new birds may be carrying. ASM can be treated, so hopefully, the rest will get better with the Ivermectin. Make sure you dose them for as long as the direction state and do the follow up treatment as well. The antibiotics will help if a secondary infection develops due to the ASM etc. I pray they make a full recovery! [-o< Sorry you are going through this now. :(

Not sure I've ever heard twitching as a symptom of ASM. Any sneezing, coughing and/or loss of voice?

Are you sure it's ASM?? That's an awful lot of meds for ASM :?
If you wet the feathers and light up the trachea with a penlight you should be able to see little pin head size black dots (which would be ASM) for a positive diagnoses.

best of luck
