I was just sitting here thinking about you and all the people here @ finch forum are..
I was tough gal, went through bird crisis before, I could handle anything (beats chest)......but never before with finches.
Last weekend, I found myself in the most panic, ridiculously lost state dealing with when those toxins killed over half my parents
And you all reminded me of when I was a teen and Myrna and Sandy were teaching me the ropes of raising blue jays, robins, squirrels.......the COUNTLESS hours they spent on the phone with me back in the day when a bird would fall-under, a squirrel would not eat, a perplexing problem arose.
Was some of the best years of my life and I got to do it all over again this last week. You M'am Elana, never missed a phone call. And you believed in me just like they did ....way back when. And all those babies are alive because of that interaction, and the cheering and scrambling of others who went flying to their resources to find issues to problem solve(Debbie, Sally, WildBill, Sheather) And those countless people who cheered from the sidelines (you ALL know who you are and tag me in your posts ....I will cheer for you as well and help if needed!!)
