Beautiful birds! I love the OH...but I love the BH too, oh and the RH too....LOL....

I'm happy you posted the photo of the OH with white breast. I love the colors. It looks like I may have two juveniles OH that (fingers crossed!!!) may have white breast. Hope my babies turn out as pretty as your Christmas presents!!! Best of luck!

Thx people. Yes thx Babs, the Yellow back hen is quite a looker. I had to smile when you used YB. You are a quick study. Rox, thx for letting me know about this guys advert. The guy that I bought it from has well over a 100 birds to sell. He said that a couple of years ago he bred more than 200 gouldians. He has a exceptional red head and a black head male that I wanted to buy, but I have to keep my spending in check because, Dec and Jan are my worst months and I make very little money, because of the holidays. Here's picture of my 2 OH boys in this aviary. (Well genetically)

Oh yes, I almost forgot, this breeder that I bought birds from has a cock that the one half of the head is black and the other half is red. In other words if you look from the one side you would say it is a RH and from the opposite side, BH. The red and the black are perfectly symmetrical. He says that although the bird is supposed to be sterile, he has bred from it before. I would not even try to guess what the genetic would be like.
