Zebra finch emergency egg care update

Post by Theresa.mc » Sat Jul 01, 2017 11:30 pm

I posted on here about two days ago about some zebra finch eggs that had fallen into my inexperienced hands (long story) sadly one of the eggs has died but I can not tell if the other is alive or not. I have seen no movement since it came home but the yolk seems to be shinking. I have attached the photos to this post

If there is no movement or heartbeat in that egg, it means it has expired. The shrinking you see would be the contents separating and settling. Sometime veins remain for a while, but they too will recede back.
