So they had a massive breed about two weeks ago and have since built a nest and not bred again since but no eggs are appearing however they have a canary nest, could that be the problem do they need a nest box ?

And the female isn’t got a problem she’s still very energetic and pulling bits of hay out the bottom of cage

Fraza I would say either nestbox or a large wicker nest. They are shy breeders and mine abandon if I go near their nest.

MariusStegmann well they have ended up having two eggs in the nest and have been putting hay on top of them I have took them out one of them is real and I’ve give them to my 5 society’s they are now incubating the eggs aswell as two zebra eggs
