Update on YB Gould with Air Sac Mites

Post by bonnies_gouldians » Wed Dec 24, 2008 3:03 am

She is on her last round of Ivermectin for the three week treatments. No shivering at night whatsoever, sleeps straight though like before. A little puffed up but I think its because its cooled down in the house a little (a few of the birds are doing this and I have pulled another blanket from the closet so its probably nothing). All in all, doing a million times better and much happier.

Just wanted to say thanks to all of you who offered advise and helped me figure out what was going on with this girl. I will for sure be putting them all on a regular treatment schedule so as to not have this problem in the future!!! THANK YOU EVERYONE!!!

Great news Bonnie. I hope she gives you lots of babies someday after she's feeling 100% :D
