ive seen one post were somone used a closet hangar as a swing.
any other good type of household item that you think would make a good aviary toy?

Yes, guilty as charged. I just happened to have a box of hangers that didn't sell at the yard sell and thought....why not? They're easy to clean, something different and well...free
Of course the 'one' Donna used was a little more tasteful than the 6 per cage.....
but these silly Zebras love them

I haven't tried it yet but may in the double flight cage for a little while anyway. It may take up too much room.
I'm wondering Candace, how you get the hangars to stay apart when you hang two onto one? Why do the lower hangars not slide over to the other hangar when a bird lands on the top one?

These hangers have an extra hook on them, I also add a zip tie to the last one on the bottom ...the end is poking out of the cage...these are more like perches than swings.... BUT check out my new cool hangers
They have an extra scoop at the top of them and they stay great and they swing...just put this up yesterday and haven't added birds to this aviary yet...still have plants, fountain and such to go
