Hi!
At last I found a breeder in my city; he is a profesional breeder and his canaries are beautiful.
He prepares a paste for canaries, and he sells it. He says it has a mix of cereals, honey, dried meat (?), and I don´t know what else. The meat sounded a little strange to me, but I remember reading here that a famous brand food for birds has meat in it, so I suppose it´s ok.
I don´t pretend to ask your advice about if I should trust his mix, because of course you won´t be able to know. I decided to trust him, because I know he is a good person and he has been doing this for many years, and I saw his canaries and his aviary and everything is clean and fine. I only want to ask your opinion about if I should give my finches (gouldians, societies and shaft tails), this paste, since it was made especially for canaries. I suppose there should be no problem, but I would like your advice.
Thank you!
should I give my finches paste for canaries?

Fabulous Finch sells a soft food containing meat created by Mike Fidler for Gouldians. I haven't tried it yet, but a few members have.
