I was wondering if any of you know of some sites with good info on Black and White Manikins?

Re: Balck and White Manikins
There isn't much info out there. I recently purchased the book Munias And Mannikins by Robin Restall. Tons of info on all the Lonchura birds. Do you have L. bicolor? I recently got a pair of L. nigriceps, a subspecies of the Bl & Wh mannikin.

Well the Rufous-Backed Mannikin - Lonchura nigriceps is quite common in South Africa, but L. bicolor is much harder to get your hands on.

Rufous-backed is harder to get here. Bicolor is the common. Go figure!Thinus wrote:Well the Rufous-Backed Mannikin - Lonchura nigriceps is quite common in South Africa, but L. bicolor is much harder to get your hands on.

I've heard RBM's can be quite aggressive.

My experience so far is they are. They were chasing everyone in the quarantine cage. I had to remove them. I hope they are better in a large aviary.raghavan88 wrote:I've heard RBM's can be quite aggressive.
