I was wondering if I could use regular old wheat germ mixed into the egg mixture or does it have to be wheat germ oil??
This is one of the ingredients of the green day diet.
I also found cod liver capsules and was wondering if one capsule could be used for every 2 or 4 eggs maybe ?? I don't want to over do it.
Thanks!
Wendy

Re: Question about Wheat Germ oil
I can't help you with the wheat germ question, I have no idea if it would work as well as wheat germ oil. On the cod liver oil, Doug uses 1 tsp. for every 4 eggs, so you'd have to measure out how many capsules you'd have to open to fill up a 1/2 tsp. measure for 2 eggs. I found liquid cod liver oil in the vitamin section at Walmart.

Re: Question about Wheat Germ oil
I use wheat germ oil in my greens. I add some to the greens in the food processor before chopping it up. I have added it to dried egg food/ground Roudybush/miracle meal and fruit patee to make a mixture for my finches especially egg laying females.
You can probably use it with your boiled egg, add some finely chopped carrots and some millet seed and it is a good healthy treat.
