Ok my daughter knocked the closed bottle of saniclens over and it landed on the floor. the bottom split, and so I quickly picked it up and turned it over and set it in something so that it would not leak any further. Then I poured it into a clean 2 liter soda bottle and labeled it and put it back.
The other day I noticed there is a white/gray powdery film all over the inside of the bottle where the saniclens contacts the plastic. Shaking it causes it to flake off. It is not diluted so it cannot be reacting with anything in my water.
Has anyone ever seen this?

Have you checked the expiration date on the bottle? Over time the active ingredient can come out of suspension over time.. Also extreme heat & cold can cause this.. Probably time for a new bottle
