With the birds you have listed, the possibility of a Fawn male is at best, remote. Since it is a sex linked mutation, one of the your boys would have to be split to Fawn in order to produce a Fawn. Unfortunately there really aren't any visual indicators telling you if a male is split to Fawn. So pretty much the only way to know for sure is to test breed and see what they produce.

Check out this link. It'll explain everything you need to know if you'd like to produce a Fawn male. http://www.efinch.com/species/fawnzeb.htm

I agree with Nagdabit
You need to have a male split for the mutation or a fawn male. So you might need to go bird hunting if you want to be able to produce fawn chicks.
Good luck.

Without knowing what your males are split for, it's hard to guess anything other than what you already have. If you by chance know the genetic background of the birds you are planning to breed, than you can speculate as to what splits you have and how they would affect any resulting clutches.

But as for now, putting the CFW's together should get you at least some CFWs. And same with the normals. Pieds could always enter into the picture, but since it is a recessive mutation, both male and female need to be carriers in order to producer Pied chicks.

Your White male could be the wild card in all this. He very well could be a Pied White, but since the pied and the base coloring are the same with White birds, you have no way of knowing for certain until you actually let them breed and see what they produce.

On the fawn speculation you could breed your fawn female with your normal male and all the males you would get from them would be split for fawn. Then you could later pair one of the split fawn boys to your other fawn female and have a chance of 25% fawn males, 25% fawn females, 25% split males and 25% normal females.

That takes time, but that is an possibility if you don't want to go and buy a new male ;)

You often don't see what your birds will produce until you let them breed, I for an example have a pair of normals, the female is a little pied. These are the colours I got http://finchforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=9566&start=30 and here http://finchforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=1 ... 3&start=15

You never quite know what might pop up :)
