I spent the day moving things around and trying to get all the birds out of the house :? What a chore this has turned into...

I have the following species I'm trying to give their own space to breed and it is taking so much space.

I have a 3 tier cage that will have a pair of Grens in each cage.
I have a 2 tier cage that will have a pair of Violet Ears in each cage.

Then I have two two tier cages that I haven't decided what to put into them yet.

But with the floor sloped it is proving to be difficult to put "cages" in there so Neil has come up with a track system.

I have set up the following pairs (1 each) today.
Blue Caps
Owls
Parsons
RF Pied Parrot Finches
Swees

Tomorrow I will finish the Grens and Violet Ears and several other "Waxbill" species.

I promise to post MANY pictures of the new look inside the bird house

I did make a change to my flights and put pine shavings on the bottom and I LOVE the look and how easy it is to keep clean. The sheets and towels are just not for me.

Will add more greenery for nesting areas - would really like to find some ferns to put inside but here in Georgia that is impossible this time of the year (I miss Florida)!

The female has a gorgeous little song  =D> For those that know I don't hear very well - this little hen sang the whole time I was holding her mate - as if to say let him go!

The color is so electric on the Grens!
I love seeing the cages go from "cages" to "homes" :)
