Hey all
Just need some advice on what I should buy for my nesting boxes, I am just putting in the last touches before I go get my birds

Try some of these

A box that you can mount outside the cage, so that you can access the nest from outside the cage is best.

Most any type will do, and for a mixed collection I generally recommend supplying a variety of different styles so the birds have a selection to choose from.

Here is another option.
Make the nest box out of a milk carton.
http://www.efinch.com/milknest1.htm
Best of all it is free, except for your time to make it.
If and when it gets real dirty from poop, you just throw it away and make a new one.
The good thing about a milk carton is the paper is coated w plastic, so it won't warp like uncoated cardboard will.
