I'm asking for a friend she would like to know if there is only one zebra and one star finch in a cage could they breed if they were the only two birds in the cage.

If it's a male and female they may certainly try...now if it results in anything i'm not sure.
I don't have any finches right now but I used to, I'll try to provide my knowledge around the forum

have never heard of a zebra & star breeding. doesnt mean it couldnt happen though
Addicted to Finches, yes I do admit it.
I pray they never find a cure.

At the FIC, linked at left, it says that Stars can breed with Owls, Zebras, and Crimsons, so they should not be placed together in a breeding situation. They won't interbreed if they have mates of their own species, but when desperate...
