I'm at a loss
One of my hens who recently laid 5 unfertile eggs is happily laying again.
However it appears to be unfertile again. Egg is pale blue. Why does she keep laying unfertile eggs?!
My pair is all lovey dovey. Just frustrating!!!

Re: I'm at a loss
Mine only lay infertile because my male doesn't mount the hen properly. He never makes contact where he needs to, and so as good of a mate as he is, he has sired nothing but dud eggs.

Did u see that male mounts the hen?! And at what frequency, what kind of perches did u use, may u need to pluck the cesspool area for some varieties

That's remember me some funny memories about first time and first contact of male with a hen, he was si active in his parade and finally all sperm goes to the skySheather wrote: Mine only lay infertile because my male doesn't mount the hen properly. And another male wich will mount the hen ten times and i will be lucky if i got a single good egg

I'm going to get better perches. 1/2" manzanita perches.
