I'm at a loss

Post by canary3000 » Sat Apr 14, 2018 1:47 pm

One of my hens who recently laid 5 unfertile eggs is happily laying again.
However it appears to be unfertile again. Egg is pale blue. Why does she keep laying unfertile eggs?!
My pair is all lovey dovey. Just frustrating!!!

Mine only lay infertile because my male doesn't mount the hen properly. He never makes contact where he needs to, and so as good of a mate as he is, he has sired nothing but dud eggs.

That's remember me some funny memories about first time and first contact of male with a hen, he was si active in his parade and finally all sperm goes to the sky :D
And another male wich will mount the hen ten times and i will be lucky if i got a single good egg

That's your issue then!
Some males just don't get what to do.

I'm going to get better perches. 1/2" manzanita perches.
