New Pic Of My Java Babies

Just took this minutes ago. Also I took a pic of the nest a pair of bronze wing mannikins built.

Haven't those bronze wings been busy :D I love the intricate nest many species weave. I have some bishop weavers and they make awesome hanging pendelums.
The javas look great. Do you have a local mart you sell your birds at? I think you mentioned that you sell your button quails.

I just love it, notice the little ones eye in the back ground looking out like he wants to say "whatcha want" :D

Ah they are cute, they are playing shy. Can't wait to see them as they come out and fledge.

The nest looks like a ball of twine, that is really neat the way they constructed it.

That is a big pile of babies! Will be interesting to see how many come out of the nest.

Very cute Java babies. Is that an asparagus fern? I have a nest just like that built in mine, but don't know who built it.

Yes it is an asparagus fern but it is made of plastic. I have lots of finches that build nest this way. The red ear waxbill builds the same type except on the ground.

I believe there are 3-4. The nest box is high up and I can't see inside. I have to hold the camera up over my head and shoot.
