They do start another clutch too early. I was concern when my juveniles were still begging for food when the hen started another clutch and was chasing them away. However, they managed to do fine. But I still removed them the moment I saw that they started to drink and before the next clutch hatched. This article http://www.hofmann-photography.de/html/ ... inger.html mentions it too.
