Cherry finches anyone???

I cannot believe all the cherry finches that I have ended up with.
They are the MOST active and busiest birds in my aviary. And they love being in a flock....

I should have though of this nice road trip before it was almost time to go back to school. Sorry.... no time as I return teaching in less than two weeks.

2 weeks is plenty time for a road trip to Kentwood. And you could go see Britney Spears mom's home. It is spectacular! :D

I have had to handfeed this little one for the past week. I guess they lost interest since it was the ONLY one.
It is just about ready to fledge and yet......now I have another one. :shock: As usual... it is a cutie. When I go out to feed it in the aviary the other two girls that I handfeed a while back and all over me very curious about that feeding syringe. I guess they remember it.... too funny!

Well... the little handfed now has a new owner. My niece whom I have guardianship of has named it Annabelle. Hope it's a girl.... :roll:
We had to put a hot pink split band on it's leg(can you tell she likes pink?) and she now proclaims this has her own little bird.
