Thanks Candace for the info., I figured maybe you were checking for me.
Liz, Joe did not want to deal with small order, so I almost gave up. But chance just came up today, just finished the deal, cost me a fortune though. I am expecting sometime next week for 3. Sooo excited...
I like the BFPF a lot, especially after raising a couple clutches. The only problem so far is too many males, 5 out of 6 have proven to be male to me, I am hoping the remaining 1 will be female so that I have a young hen to keep

Glad to hear you have some on the way Albert!
Well I sure got a surprise this morning when I was putting the eggfood into the cage with the Cubans which is below the Societies with the Blue-faced Parrot babies. As I put the dish into the lower cage I noticed a commotion in the cage above. As I straightened up, I saw a green bird in the cage. It was the older Blue-faced Parrot Finch fledged and all feathered up. Boy that was so fast! I didn't expect it for a few more days since he was so 'bare' two days ago. I had to feed the other birds and would turn around now and again to check on him. He was perched within a few minutes... and back in the nestbox about 10 minutes later.

I know, I know but I forgot to tell him and he sneaked back into the nest before I could get my camera. This weekend for sure!
Thanks Janine!
