Monique, I have no clue. I think hes young because when we got him in, he looked like a normal. After a molt, he got some pied spots...so who knows what he'll turn out to be! :)

Nice :D That would be a pied. any bird showing yellow to white spots is considered to having pied markings. My medium pied bred with a normal hen had offspring that looked like this. I am sure they will get more pied as they grow older.
I have also gotten this light pied markings from breeding 2 normal birds. Obviously they carry the gene though they don't show pied :? That is why I say once pied gets in the line it is hard to remove it completely. It will crop up when not wanted sometimes.
