Won't eat from feeders?

I have my zebs for 4 days now,and they still haven't figured out how to eat from feeders(ones that came with the cage)..
I made them approachable with perches,but still,they just won't go there...

I gave them one of those stainless steel cups,filled it with their food so they can eat...
I also gave them some treats(carrot and spray millet ) just to try to lead them on feeders...and guess what-still nothing

I would just put pieces of millet into the cups so they know thats where the food is

I would remove the seed cup just before lights out and put the millet in the feeder.

The next morning, leave the seed cup out, and after a couple hours put it back in. Sooner or later they will get hungry enough to try the seeds in the feeder. Sometimes it is just something that they have never seen and are afraid of it. So you may have to get them hungry enough to get over their fear of that "thing."

They are standing on the perch that is next to the feeders,and still nothing

It can take from a few hours to a week for them to get used to and try the new feeders. Is it the hopper-style feeder?

I'm not familiar with that but it looks similar in that they have to put their heads into the feeder, yes?

Could well be. That's why Bill suggested sticking some millet spray in the feeders - to entice them in. Where else in the cage can they get seed from?

right now-nowhere,maybe some on the floor,but before I took it away there was a stainless steel cup
