More New Birds - Pics Added 8/18
I just picked up these guys in Seattle yesterday, took the red-eye back last night via Minneapolis, so I am off to bed, but I brought back a pair of Strawberries, 2 pairs of Lavenders, a pair of Red-billed Fires, and a pair of BCCBs. Most if not all of these birds were parent-raised, and I am very excited to add some new bloodlines to my mix. I probably won't get pictures till tomorrow.
The trip was an adventure too--tell you all about it later. Now for some zzzzz's!

THAT's why Sally has all of those strawberries! She's willing to fly around the country to get them!
Lucky, lucky you, and hope they all work out for you!

Yes, I am lucky that I am retired from an airline, it's the only way I could afford to do this! And between incredible luck at finding deals just as they get posted and friends on this forum and others who PM me when they see Berries for sale, I have been very fortunate. Now if I can just get all these guys breeding, and someday have enough to share the wealth.Hilary wrote:THAT's why Sally has all of those strawberries! Re: More New Birds
Finally getting some photos of these new birds. Between them being very flighty and the fact that this camera is driving me nuts with trying to get things in focus, this is the best I can do right now. The little Strawberry hen got quite plucked during the trip home and the first day, when I had them in with some of the other birds. Now they are in a cage by themselves, and with lots of eggfood and Featherfast, she should grow some feathers soon.
Still haven't gotten pics of the Blue-caps, will try to get them tomorrow.
