Hmm, that's a good question. Everyone seems to have their own preferences. I just recently started buying the orlux for finches.. I mix it in with my homemade eggfood to dry it out, and also leave a full dish in the cages. This is the first time I've tried using it and everyone seems to love it. It has bugs and everything all the species need. I buy it at the local pet store.

I try to make my on eggfood by the info from the finch information center but no work good . I want to try one from out source ready to service to my finchs.

I think that's a good choice. Everyone who's tried it says their birds prefer it. Let us know how they like it.

(A lot of birds don't seem to care for home made eggfood...but if you keep offering it, eventually they will try it. I like the commercial food, too, though, because it doesn't spoil, and it's less time consuming.)
