mealworms

Hi,
Has anyone tried the canned mealworms in place of live? They are supposed to be soft and moist like the live but (for me) without the yuck factor. Here is a link:

I tried them - most of my finches do not like them. Even my Oscar fish won't eat them.

If anyone is nearby and wants an unopened can - they are welcome to it!!

I have also tried them, even my shaftails will snub their noses at them. I paid $10 just to throw it in the trash

Mine aren't very interested in the live and I was hoping to avoid them but I'm definitely not ordering something for the trash. Thanks!

What will they think of next!! Bugs in a can
Although, my RCCBs like freeze dried bloodworms (which seem kinda crunchy), so I guess it's not that different. It's the fact that they're "soft" that grosses me out.
