That is quite the size difference isn't it. I don't usually notice it when they are in separate cages.

I hope your clutch of Fires went well Judy. My Societies ended up not sitting so those were wasted eggs.

Your two males are stunning! And a great photo, too. My Societys fed their own hatchling but not the Fires, and, unfortunately, they died. I didn't know the Societies did this. Such a sad way to learn a valuable lesson. In the meantime, the Fire parents hatched and raised (NLF) three of their own. They are almost weaned and are all hens, I believe.

I seem to get only hens from my young Fires. Perhaps this season mine will decide to give a male or two.
