Where do you buy Miracle Meal? I know you have to order online, but which company is the best?

I don't know which one's the best. Here's a site I bought from before:

http://www.ladygouldianfinch.com/produc ... lemeal.mgi
Walk-in aviary with Waxbills (6 Cordon Bleu, 3 Orange Cheek, 3 Black-rumped, 1 Lavender, ), 1 European Goldfinch, 4 Gouldians, 2 Spice Finches, 6 Owl Finches, 4 Budgies and 2 male Button Quail.
I also have 2 parrotlets, 3 dogs, 1 snake and 3 freshwater fishtanks.

There are multiple resellers out there - I would go with someone who is closest to you so you can get the most reasonable shipping charges. I see that you are in Texas, so someone in your vicinity might be your best bet.
We all get it from the same source so I wouldn't say any one retailer is better than another!

ladygouldianfinch.com is located in CA
ladygouldian.com (her sister) is located in GA

I am located in MD and I sell it.
Kristen Reeves is in Michigan I believe, and she sells it as well :)

Close doesn't always equate to cheaper shipping. I have thought that and ordered closer to home and the seller inflated the shipping cost...maybe by adding a handling fee. :? I have orderd from from all over the states and sometimes get better deals further away......it also will depend on how much you order...... usually a savings if you combine items within the same shipment :D

True.. and in my case my shopping cart sucks..
It will only let me create 6 different calculated shipping options, so I either end up under charging or over charging sometimes :/

I figure it works itself out over the long run, and generally if I accidentally over charge someone, I either refund them the over charged portion or send them a butt ton of free stuff to make up for it ;)

When you bought from me was before I started selling the BRU and I really had to adjust the calculations then because I was losing a ton based on how it was calculating before since the 11lb bags do not fit in a medium flat rate box.
I have to go UPS on those.. it's so convoluted but investing in a paid for shopping cart is not worth it for me at this point because I simply don't do enough website sales to justify it.

So I stick with the free paypal cart for now and just deal ;)

You also have to pay sales tax if the seller is in the same state as you. You have to consider that too when you compare prices...

I pay tax on all my stuff.... "render to Ceasar what Ceasar is due ":D It is the law to pay sales tax... you are only
charge the tax if the company is in the same state because they are required to collect and pay it to the state for you. Out of state purchasers are required to pay the tax to their state as a use tax or a sales tax (the latter if you resale the product).
Of course most people don't pay the tax on their online, out of state purchases.... heck I figure if the government wanted to settle the dept all they would have to do is enforce the slaes tax laws and they would recover beucoup funds
Many just don't realize that they owe the tax on the products they buy out of state. You do unless you have a tax exempt form.
This applies for business and personal items. So the tax amount shouldn't be a factor in the price of buying out of state or in state. Equates to the same amount of tax being paid. Or should I say should be being paid. [-X

Actually currently you're NOT required to collect sales tax for online purchases unless the customer is located in the state in which your reside, or if you have a merchant account within a state, if the customer resides in the state your merchant account is located.

Yes, the buyer of the product from the website technically owes the tax to their State, but the online retailer isn’t required to collect it for them, and this according to a 1992 Supreme Court ruling.

In 2008 NY tried to start collecting sales tax from Amazon.com. (Amazon is based in Seattle, but many of the retailers who sell goods through Amazon are New York–based) Amazon actually filed suit in the New York Supreme Court arguing the law is unconstitutional and so far no judgement has been made.

They are trying to implement "internet sales tax" laws - but for the time being, all you have to worry about is collecting sales tax from customers located in the same state as you.
