That is so great! Congrats, Janine.. I am so jealous. I have had a pair of GS for quite some time now, and still waiting for some sign of parenthood. :?

Funny, at night, like really late 2ish in the morning, I keep thinking I'm hearing birds singing, only I couldn't tell if it's my birds, the birds outside, or the birds in my head. If it is my birds, it would be my male green singing finch!

Thanks everyone :D
This morning there are at least 2 wee little ones. =D> At lights on Sunny went over to the edge of the nest and helped Shine eat the rest of the eggshell, then right on off to get chow for the babies. =D> I think after watching them that I have figured it out. The hen never has to regurgitate the food, the male gets the food regurgitates it into the hens mouth, and from there she feeds the little ones 8)

I agree - the male feeds the hen and she immediately gives the food to the chicks (saw that on ikhoms webcam).

One question for you Janine: Are you STILL peeking?

Kinda hard not to      Their cage is in the center of the bank of 4   But I am not touching anyone or anything, no fingers in the cage [-X , which means no photo ops [-X . But I do watch the bottom of the cage and the feeding ritual from a few feet away.
And my gouldians are fledging right below. =D>
