New project the bird room

well as i do not have anymore room for my feathered friends in my own room i desided to take over part of are storage room :twisted: ive been working on it for a good too weeks and i desided id share what i was doing its not done but ill be putting the wire on tomorow and then move the birds in and the button quail ! anywho heres some pics !

Canary: Blue, Red & Yellow, BC Cordon Bleu, Strawberry, Star, European Goldfinch, Owl, Shaftail, Splendid, Rosey Bourkes, Cocker Spaniel gal, Portuguese Water guy, and a freshwater tank. (no partridge, but I do have a pear tree).

im not aloud to but my mum says you got first dibs on the first batch of babys if you dont have any yet !!


Thanks every one putting the wire on now by the end of the day they should be in there new home !

Now that I think of it I swear I saw your parents at the auction yesterday????? Am I close??? Anyways whoever it was walked away with 11 Chinese painted quail(button)

no they wernt at no auction its not my secret is my mums secret i dont know excally were she got them so sorry.


well im done and i got all my finches in there and the budgies i can not move my love birds into the cages beside because 2 pairs are sitting on eggs at the moment but other then that all residents are in there new home and happy !

looks great? how big is that space? im still working on my expansion right now. it'll be done tomorrow! i am setting it up for the quail that i dont have yet! i am worried about providing enough space for a pair.

what do you have on the floor?

the space is 4 feet wide and5 feet long and 6 foot 10 inches tall i have plastic and pine shaving on the floor they love them scratch around they are very small so dont be to worried.

and you will be the first on the list for button quail !

I love your space! Great lighting, ventilation, stress perches, natural vines...love the forked branch swing. Looks like you thought of everything. I to love the FQ :lol:

thanks guys i wanted to do it properly but while watching them today i noticed they were not using the space to its fullest potential so i made bamboo perches and now they fly back and forth and use the whole space
