Very beautiful!!
Anna

Lots of Red Throat Parrot Finches, Forbes, Gouldians, BCCB's, RCCB's, Owls, Societies, and BB Fires. Plus, one wonderful 15 year old son, one wonderful husband and two rotten-to-the-core Border Terriers.

My aviary: 40' x 25' x 7'
Well planted.
About 60% roofed and the rest open flight.

I love seeing pictures of everyone's aviaries! I wish I had a place for one. Maybe someday...

for those who are interested in building a cheap flight cage! Here what I did
All the material were bought at Menards, the total cost me about $30

I used two tight mesh wire shelving for the front and top of the cage, 120cmX50 size was perfect for me.
Two white wood blind 120x50, one for the bottom and the other for ratings

A plywood for the back of the cage 125X55, take into account the thickness of the planks of wood and cut, to make it waterproof and easy to clean, I covered it with a large piece of white adhesive coating.

I made a big door in the middle with a grid floor of my old cage.

For the bottom, I used a set for rabbit or dog cage, also come 120x50, for the wide cut and paste it on your dimension

Here's the aviary I built and designed for my finches. Its about 3'x3' and has a pull out drawer for cleaning. I think I did pretty well considering this is my first time building something lol
